The Role

The Saltwater Projects Coordinator selected will oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. will be responsible to accomplish business objectives by identifying and solving operational strategies and process improvement opportunities.

As Saltwater Projects Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

• Review status of projects and budgets; manage schedules and prepares status reports
• Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, goals and objectives
• Identify project requirements by interviewing operational employees; analyzing operations; determining project scope; documenting results
• Develop problem solutions by describing requirements in a work-flowchart and diagram; studying system capabilities; analyzing alternative solutions; preparing system specifications; writing programs
• Develop project estimates by identifying phases and elements, personnel requirements, and costs
• Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and stake holders
• Maintains the schedule; coordinating planning and scheduling of logistics support elements / schedules, and supporting the required planning projections, which include the planned support resources, processes and methods needed for execution
• Must be able to work and communicate well in a team environment and assist stake holders in monitoring and evaluating progress in assigned projects
• Must be able to successfully meet deadlines
• Supports meetings and participates in continuous improvement projects
• Reconcile monthly operating budgets and share updated financial reports with the senior management team
• Schedule meetings for senior management team and book conference rooms as needed
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies

A successful candidate will have:

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills an absolute must
• Critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and general consulting skill
• Project Management and Process Improvement background, preferred
• Proficiency with project management software tools and reporting too
• Experience in strategic planning, risk management and/or change management
