The Role

 This is a highly dynamic role reporting directly to the Sales and Operations Planning Manager. This role will work out of the Blacks Harbour Sales office. This role will work very closely and collaborate with internal departments such as Sales, Operations and Logistics

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned) 

  • Collaborate with other departments including sales, production, and shipping to ensure trucks can be loaded at proper time. Follow and communicate allocation rules to manage customer demands
  • Ensure inventory of fresh product is communicated and sold. Ensure any inventory at risk is communicated and plan put in place.
  • Track KPIs and generate reports for supply chain, sales, operations and Logistics performance. To ensure proper visibility is given between multiple work groups and departments.
  • Develop and implement changes and improvements to supply chain processes, and procedures to increase productivity and reduce waste.
  • Be the team lead on special programs such as small fish, and Trout. Or any other programs that might need detailed planning.
  • Stay familiar with Sales Coordinators key roles to act as a backup when required.
  • Liaise with internal logistics and transportation partners to track carrier, and freight forwarder performance including on-time service.
  • Measurement of Problem areas that delay orders being delivered on time
  • Track / trace high priority customers

Qualifications

  • This role requires a large knowledge of the organization and systems to properly manage the above tasks.
  • Previous exposure to Sales, Operations, and Logistics would be a great asset for this role.
  • This will be a highly rewarding and integral role in the sales division. It requires a very strong personality that can effect change and work with people to have the best outcome for the company. Effective communication skills that allow for this person to connect different parties will be crucial to this role’s success.
  • Time management is also acritical part to this role. The ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time and communicate in a timely manner will be key.
