Kelly Cove Salmon Ltd., a division of Cooke Aquaculture Inc., a dynamic and growing east coast family company, with Platinum Member status in the Canada’s Best Managed Companies Program, is offering fulltime opportunities for highly motivated individuals to join the Company’s team as a Remote Feed System Operator based out of our Blacks Harbour, New Brunswick location.

The Role 

With advances in technology and equipment, you can now be part of the next evolution in improving the way we grow salmon. You will be working closely with site staff and managers to achieve the best feeding practices.

Responsibilities and Qualifications 

• Remotely feeding the salmon,
• Observing fish behavior,
• Communicating on a regular basis with site staff, data entry and inventory tracking.
• High attention for detail,
• Great Computer skills, some experience with data entry and reviewing data,
• Excellent communication skills,
• Must be comfortable working independently and completing repetitive tasks on a daily basis.
• Although this position is office based, there will be some hands-on salmon farm site work required for training purposes.

Completion of the Aquaculture Technician Program and/or experience in aquaculture would be considered an asset, although not a requirement.
