LOGISTICS SUPPORT COORDINATOR

Kelly Cove Salmon Ltd., a division of Cooke Aquaculture Inc., a dynamic and growing east coast family company, with Platinum Member status in the Canada’s Best Managed Companies Program, is offering a unique opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join the Company’s team as a Logistics Support Coordinator.

The Role

The Logistics Support Coordinator position will be based out of Johnson Lake Facility and will report to the Manager at that facility for direction and allocation of time. The primary role of this position is to be responsible for helping support and coordinate the logistics of feed and salts requirements for Freshwater Operations for Kelly Cove Salmon in NB. Hours will be allocated between duties at Lake Utopia Hatchery and working at Johnson Lake Facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned) 

• Skillful management of feed and salts inventories
• Unloading and storage of materials received
• Loading and shipping of feed and salts to nearby hatchery facilities
• Maintain warehouse in a clean and orderly status in accordance with third party certification standards
• Clerical duties tracking inventory of materials
• Must be able to work flexible hours as determined by deliveries and hatchery needs.

Qualifications

• self-motivated team player
• valid driver’s license
• strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• willing to participate in our in-house forklift and safety training program
