Shoreland Transport Inc., a division of Cooke Aquaculture Inc. a dynamic and growing east coast family company, with Platinum Member status in the Canada’s Best Managed Companies Program, is offering a unique opportunity for a highly motivated, self-starter to fill the role of Dispatcher within our team based in St. George, NB.  This position will appeal to those who like to work in a fast paced environment, have the ability to multitask and have a high standard for their work.

 Qualifications/Requirements/Attributes: 

• Goal orientated,
• Self-motivated, flexible and professional,
• Team player with strong interpersonal,
• Great Communication and Computer Skills.
• Strong analytical skills with an ability to make service-oriented decisions while still demonstrating cost effectiveness. 
• You must be able to multi-task in a busy environment. 
• Excellent customer service skills are a necessity. 
• Minimum of two (2) years relevant experience in the transportation industry,
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products and be willing to adapt in an ever-changing environment.
• As per company policy, a clear result of a pre-employment criminal background check.

Primary duties of this role include but are not limited to:

• Provide professional, courteous customer service.
• Coordinate, confirm, and dispatch all loads.
• Ensure all pertinent system information is entered accurately and in a timely fashion.
• Professionally handle issues raised by drivers,
• Manage availability of drivers and equipment.
